Portraits

Hailey, I decided to do a little black and white myself this week.
My niece Tiegen Marie, I decided to keep the color in this because it's all bright and cute!
My mother and my chunky niece Tiegen Marie again. She will loose weight soon once she starts moving around.
 I did a self-portrait of my self.
A picture of me and my boyfriend this week down town Burlington. Below is a portrait of my friend and I that another friend took last night.

Milo's Trip to the River

My photo story is about Milo going down to the river from waking up, ride to the river, walking down, and swimming.

Text, Clone, Patch tools

In the first photo I cloned Milo, my purse, and the barn/garage in the background. I added text to both of these tools. I like using the clone tool because I find it one of the best tools there is to use on photoshop!

This photo I just enhanced the lighting and put sleepy boy as my text.

Dodge, Burn, and two filters-

The first one is my original the second photo I used the dodge and burn tools. I burned the inside of the photo such as the faces and the drinks. Then dodged the outside of the photo to lighten it up better. I liked using the dodge on the faces especially mine because it brought out my makeup much more. These are definitely not the tools I will probably ever use again I find them pretty much useless and think there are better tools in adobe to do almost the same effects as the dodge and burn.

For the first photo I used the splatter filter effect which I did little splatter because I thought to much made the photo look worse. The second photo I used the mosiac effect which I think it came out pretty cool. The filter effects are always fun to play around with.

adjustments to landscape photo's

I adjusted the light on these first two photo's which you can tell because the second one you can actually see the walkway. I also changed the image size to the second one because I adjusted the contrast two much and had to make the photo clearer by adjusting the pixels.

For these two photos I adjusted the light, which made the image clearer so you can actually see the rocks through the water.

This last photo is my favorite. I adjusted the contrast and light which made the photo so clear that you can actually see the stick falling from the water falling from the log. The second photo had to much contrast so you can tell the difference as to what contrast can do to a picture.

Milo- image size, crop, and 7 different layers.

So I finally was able to download a free download, which took me forever to figure out because my computer kept freezing for the last 3 days. But now the homework is completed! Sorry for being a day late class! But I'm happy I finally got to use this program again. I have it for windows program, but it would not download onto my mac which is unfortunate because these programs are expensive.

Landscapes

I have to say, landscape photos are my favorite type of photos to take. I love landscapes and to be able to catch the moment with a camera is amazing. Now, I have my camera in my car so when I see something pretty or something that catches my eye I can just snap a photo and say the image for later. I have to say cameras were a great invention!!
This is one of my favorite landscape photo's I enjoy the swamp, mountains and the clouds. This picture is so green and summery.

This one is another one that I like. I like it because the water sneaks to the back of the photo and then is swallowed by the mountains.

These two (top and bottom) I thought was a unique landscape photo. I think these rocks are here by nature and no help with humans.
